Rubis SCA engages in downstream oil and chemical processing. It operates through the Energy Distribution segment, and the Renewable Electricity Generation segment. The Energy Distribution segment it includes the distribution of fuels, heating oils, lubricants, liquefied gases, and bitumen, as well as logistics—comprising trading and supply, refining operations, and maritime transport. The Renewable Electricity Generation segment specializes in the generation of photovoltaic electricity. The company was founded by Gilles Gobin and Jacques Riou in 1990 and is headquartered in Paris, France.
